Weekly update 17

Weekly update

We went to the doctor yesterday and everything is right on track. Heart beat was nice and strong around 150. My weight gain and blood pressure are right where they should be. Over all doctor said we look great. Kevin recorded the heart beat on his phone, love that we have that!

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: I am IN my 17th week
Size of baby: Onion or Turnip
Maternity Clothes: Maternity pants, mostly regular tops but I did by two maternity shirts last week.
Gender: Less then 2 weeks till we hopefully find out.
Movement: Too soon but can't wait!
Sleep: Pretty good
What I miss: Peach bellini. We have had some very warm days lately and it has made me miss one of my favorite cocktails. I did find a good substitute though, so I think I'll survive.
Cravings: Big red gum, cheese cake, and the regulars, Mexican food and oranges
Symptoms: Some pulling sensations since little one is doing some growing but other then that I honestly could forget I was pregnant.

And here is a pics from the last week. I really need to plan photo day a bit better and maybe do something with myself or at a minimum not take them at the very end of a very busy day! Oh well I am just keeping it real! haha

Weekly update

This weeks stats...a few days late. I actually think I am going to move these updates to the weekend so I can post the photo at the same time on the weeks that we take them. We'll see.

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: I am IN my 16th week
Size of baby: Avocado
Maternity Clothes: Maternity pants regular tops
Gender: Only 24 more days till we find out!
Movement: Too soon but can't wait!
Sleep: Not as tired this week. Let's see if the trend continues, I think the time change helped.
What I miss: Sushi again. I've been wanting it all week
Cravings: Still Mexican food, anything citrus and pickles. 4 days this week I have eaten an orange, a clementine, half a grapefruit and then had lemon in my water all day. To me, that is a lot of citrus.
Symptoms: Not a whole lot this week. I've felt really good. Even ran a 5k on Tuesday in 32:24!

Over all doing well and just going with the flow. Looking forward to the weekend! woohoo!

Our weekend and updated bump picture

Our weekend was nice and low key. Friday night Kevin had to work on a project for work very late so we pushed date night back to Saturday. That afternoon I met my Aunt for lunch. It was so nice to catch up with her. There is not even 10 years separating us so growing up she was more of a sister.
After, I headed to target for a little retail therapy, I just love that place. And then sat with a friend for a bit and caught up over a cup of tea.
For date night we went to a local pub type place then head to see the movie Act of Valor it was very good and I cried a lot at the end!

Sunday was the normal grocery shopping, cleaning laundry ect. Kevin went out and play a round of golf and I hung out with the pups and enjoyed the amazing weather!

Overall it was low key and perfect!
Lastly, here are some updated bump pictures. Please excuse how rough I look in both, I was not into getting fancy this weekend!

Kevin made me take two. The 1st was taken Saturday but then on Sunday he said we had to do a redo because the black shirt didn't do the bump any justice. haha! We also got a pic of Kevin's bump, or lack there of! I just love that man!

Prego highlights

Here are the stats for this week. We will be taking our last monthly photo this Sunday. I'll post it then. Moving forward I think we have to go to every two weeks if not weekly.

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: I am IN my 15th week
Size of baby: A Navel Orange
Maternity Clothes: Maternity pants regular tops
Gender: Don't know yet.
Movement: Too soon but can't wait!
Sleep: It is still my favorite past time! I am ready to crash by 8:30 each night.
What I miss: Energy
Cravings: Still Mexican food, anything orange and pickles. Last night I just had to have pizza with ranch dressing. I did give in to this one.
Symptoms: Still really tired. Monday was a tough one. I wasn't sure if I was coming down with something or just overly tired from a busy weekend without much down time and late bed times. I left work early, crashed and felt much better come Tuesday.

Funny story I do not want to for get. I was at the gym this week when a guy came over an offered to show me some "great core exercises to help with my middle problem area". You should have seen his face when I explained it was in fact not a problem area but a baby!
