Week 21 and todays doctor appointment

Two posts in one day! Look out!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: I am IN my 21st week

Size of baby: As long as a banana

Maternity Cloths: More and more maternity making its way into my wardrobe.

Gender: It's a BOY!!!!

Movement: A little something more and more often. Feels like popcorn popping. I feel it more after lunch.

What I miss: Sushi, again. A group of us are meeting for dinner this Friday at my favorite sushi place. I'll just pretend and eat my faux sushi rolls.

Cravings: Nothing new.

Symptoms: I feel amazing. I've had a few not so great nights of sleep but other than that, I can't complain!

I feel like I look like a house in this pic! But as of our doctors appointment today, I have gained 8 lbs so far and apparently that is really good. I feel like the bump in the back is bigger than the bump in the front in this pic! hahaha I never have been lacking in the back end so I guess this should not surprise me! The song baby got back keeps running through me head! haha
Everything else looked great as well, B.P. was perfect, we found his little heart beat right away 138-140 bpm and over all we are right on track.

They gave me the orange drink for our next visit. Can't believe how fast this is all going.

Happy Monday to you all! It's been a great start to my week so far :)

It's a.........

We found out on April 9th that our littlest Lazor is a baby boy! We had our anatomy scan and he looked as healthy as could be. He was very still and well behaved in the beginning which made getting all the proper measurements easy. There was a student in the room and she took over for a bit. Well little man was done napping at that point and was all over the place! At one point she zoomed out and said "can we just watch this child for a second, he is seriously doing barrel rolls or something". It was amazing! We also got to see him hiccup...adorable! haha

We decided we wanted to find out what we were having just not at the doctors office. There are so many other things to look at, and take in that we wanted that moment to have its own special time. I had decided early on that I wanted Kevin to be the one to tell me what we were having. Us gals get to inform our hubby's of all sorts of news and I thought it would be fun to let him share this news with me.
Our ultra sound tech was amazing and was great about not letting the gender slip. She had us close our eyes, she looked and then printed the above picture for us and put it in an envelope.

After our appointment we went to lunch. As we were walking into the restaurant Kevin said for me to go ahead and he'd be in, in a second. I asked if he was going to peak..."maybe" with an evil grin was his reply. A few minutes later he joined me and I asked if he knew...."Yep" with another evil grin was his reply. I had made only one stipulation, please don't wait to tell me until the end of the night, like before we go to bed. We raised our glasses and I made a toast "to our healthy baby!" and Kevin added "to our healthy baby BOY!" I cried SO hard and was SO happy!
All along I kept saying I didn't care, and honestly I don't know that I really did wish for one over the other but a baby boy just felt right. We have had his named picked out for years, when we talked about our future children it was always "he" or "him". I am over joyed that the lord has picked my to be this little guys mama! I get all teary eyed every time I think about it.
We had a wonderful lunch, went and picked an outfit out for our little man. We hadn't bought a single thing for the baby yet. And just enjoyed the day together. It will honestly go down as one of my favorite days I've ever spent with my husband.

To tell our parents and siblings we mailed them this cute card.

It was so fun to drag it out for them! We figured when was the last time anyone was excited to get the mail?! The text's and phone calls we got over the next few days as they were anticipating finding out was so fun. And it was nice to feel the love, support and excitement everyone has for this little guy even if he is the 5th grandchild on each side.

Once they all got their "golden tickets" in the mail we announced on Facebook with this sweet photo of Kevin holding little mans 1st pair of shoes.

I love this photo!!
Well there you have it! It's a boy and we could not be happier!

Week 19 and some pictures!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: I am IN my 19th week

Size of baby: Mango

Maternity Cloths: No new update here.

Gender: We know but aren't telling yet. Just found out today and are SO excited!

Movement: A little something but nothing strong or consistent.

What I miss: Running as much as I'd like. Starting to go slower with lower miles.

Cravings: Nothing too out there, all repeats of past weeks.

Symptoms: A little ligament pain on my right side.

We had our anatomy ultra sound today and it was amazing. Baby is very healthy. Little one slept during the 1st part and then started a dance party towards the end. We got an extra long ultra sound because there was a student in the room. After the official measurements and before the doctor came in, the student practiced getting some measurements. I was happy to have the extra time to stare at our miracle! We even saw it get the hiccups, so cute! They were able tell the gender but we are waiting to tell our family before we let the masses know. Look for an update soon with the details!

Bump week 19Sweet profile There is a joke in our family about the "Pankuch big toe". (Pankuch is my maiden name). Most people in the Pankuch family have a rather prodomienent big toe....looks like littlest Lazor got blessed with it!
