That foil was on about everything! Took awhile to clean up but it was a fun surprise.
That evening I met my friend Senta for dinner. I didn't take a single photo other then this one with me and the giant jar of pickles she got me. It was my 1st baby gift and made me laugh so hard. I do currently love pickles!
Friday I treated my self to a spa day. I got a mani, pedi, hair cut and my eyebrows done. It was so relaxing and wonderful! I followed it up by taking myself to lunch. I am part of the minority that loves to have lunch alone. A good book, a good meal and zero clean up, so nice!
Saturday was my actual birthday. Hubby and I went shopping, he bought me my 1st pair of maternity jeans (much more comfy then the belly band) and a cute charm for my Pandora bracelet. Later that evening we met a bunch of friends for dinner at a local Mexican restaurant. Mexican food is a main craving of mine. They spoiled me rotten with some great gifts for me adn a few sweet things for the littlest Lazor. I didn't take a single photo during dinner or of hubby and I. I have to get better about snapping pictures for this blog! I did manage to get a photo of my birthday outfit.
We spent the rest of the evening catching up with everyone at a friend of ours house. It was a fun night but this mama was ready for bed! I just can't hang like I use to! haSunday we spent the day being domestic and indulging in this yummy cake hubby made me for my birthday.
It is a little tradition that he makes it every year and it is by far the thing I look forward to the most. Yellow cake and chocolate frosting made by the love of my life..doesn't get better than that!And just because they were super cute here is a pic of the flowers my family sent me for my birthday. I love the chick!
Over all it was a wonderful birthday weekend and I am so grateful for all the amazing people I have in my life to celebrate with!Congrats if you made it through that long and possibly very boring post! Have a great week!
